ACADEMICS AT CCU

As one of the largest Christian Universities in the Midwest, CCU offers a solid range of programs and majors for students where their faith will be supported and strengthened through our three colleges: Cincinnati Bible College, College of Adult Learning and Cincinnati Bible Seminary.

CINCINNATI BIBLE COLLEGE – Undergraduate Studies

CCU’s Cincinnati Bible College (CBC) attracts students who have a passion to live by God’s leading. For some, that means a clear call to work as a preacher, missionary or leader in the church. For others, it is simply a calling that they will live for Christ via their chosen career as a teacher, counselor, musician, athlete professional or parent.

Every student at CCU majors in Biblical Studies which prepares them to go into the world and make a true impact. CCU offers 2-year associates and 4-year bachelors programs. Programs of study include: Preaching Ministry, Youth Ministry, Music & Worship, Business Management, Early Childhood Education, Urban & Intercultural Ministry, Psychology and more. COLLEGE OF ADULT LEARNING – Undergraduate Studies (Degree Completion)

CCU’s College of Adult Learning (CAL) offers an exciting and practical way for adults to complete a bachelors degree by attending classes just one night per week. This accelerated program includes a foundational Biblical Studies degree and is designed to meet the unique needs of adult learners who must balance work, church, community, and family responsibilities.

The College of Adult Learning offers a professional core in Leadership & Ministry or Business Management. Classes are held in two locations in Cincinnati and at extension sites in Indianapolis and Louisville.

CINCINNATI BIBLE SEMINARY – Graduate Studies

CCU’s Cincinnati Bible Seminary (CBS) prepares servant leaders with in-depth teaching and practical insights to help them dynamically impact our culture for Christ. Since its founding in 1924, Cincinnati Bible Seminary has generated a multitude of competent and compassionate church leaders, scholars, missionaries, and Christian professionals.

Masters programs are offered in Bible, Theology, Church History, Ministry and Counseling. The Russell School of Ministry, named after CCU alumnus Bob Russell (former senior minister of Southeast Christian Church) is a Seminary program that gives students and other church leaders an outstanding opportunity to expand their leadership and education through a series of practical ministry courses.
