Cincinnati Christian University welcomed Dan Cathy, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A® restaurant chain, to two events on August 19.

Cathy was in Cincinnati for a series of community and store events.

While at a reception at President David and Mrs. Candy Faust’s home near the CCU campus, Cathy spoke to more than 50 guests, which included trustees, faculty, staff and friends. He spoke about his own faith and the Christian principles that guide Chick-fil-A®.

“God has clearly affirmed over and over again that we are right where He wants us to be,” Cathy said, adding that “God is really blessing our ministry in the marketplace.”
Then, wearing the purple CCU ball cap President Faust presented him with, Cathy went on to meet with more than 100 CCU students at a picnic at Fernbank Park. At both events, the attendees enjoyed a wide selection of Chick-fil-A® menu items.
