David Faust is the seventh president of Cincinnati Christian University. A native of Highland County, Ohio, he has been involved in ministry for about 30 years, including a ten-year ministry with South Nassau Christian Church in Baldwin, New York; a seven-year ministry with University Christian Church in Cincinnati, Ohio; and eight years full-time on the faculty of CCU. Prior to becoming president of CCU, he served as senior minister of East 91st Street Christian Church in Indianapolis.
He holds degrees from Empire State College (Bachelor of Arts), Kentucky Christian College (Master of Ministry), Cincinnati Bible Seminary (Master of Arts and Master of Divinity), and Fuller Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry).
Since 1996 he has served as executive editor of The Lookout, a weekly magazine for Christian families, and he has written or co-authored twelve books including Unquenchable Faith, Married for Good, Faith Under Fire, Embracing the Truth, The Life of Moses, and Taking Truth Next Door. He has served as president of the National New Church Conference and as president of the 2006 North American Christian Convention.
Dr. Faust has spoken all over the U.S. and in many countries around the world. He has an exciting vision for the future of CCU “teaching thousands to reach millions,” which includes the goal of doubling our student enrollment over the next decade, improving our campus, and continuing to improve the quality of CCU’s spiritual and academic life.
Dr. Faust has been married since 1975 to Candy, who is a registered nurse. They have three adult children, a son-in-law, and two granddaughters.
