Academic Support Services
The Academic Support Office provides a variety of services to all students to enhance and improve academic skills. Supportive services include advising, tutoring, mentoring, teaching study skills, providing test taking strategies, assisting with papers, proofreading and facilitating study groups.
In addition, services are provided to assist students with identified disabilities by arranging tutors and notetakers. Tests can be taken in the office by those students who need additional time or a private setting. Services for the visually or hearing impaired students are coordinated through this office as well. The office is conveniently located in the lower level of the Worship building and offers a quiet space for students who may need a place to study. The Academic Support Office is staffed by the Director, Marie Reeves. She has degrees in Education and Counseling and is assisted by a qualified student worker. The office is open daily Monday through Friday.
