At many institutions, adult students can be marginalized. At CCU, we want to ensure that you have the opportunity to not only connect with your fellow students but, most importantly, grow in your walk with the Lord.
Much of the relationship building between our students occurs in the classroom; our faculty use a variety of methodology including small groups and team building where classmates can engage in each other’s journeys. We occasionally hosts study breaks where students can enjoy a snack and speak with people in other classes. Also, at our main campus, the Hill Top Coffee Shop provides a central gathering place, where many of our students like to gather before or after class to enjoy a beverage and some conversation.
Finally, we have The Well, a monthly worship service that takes place during class time. Here College of Adult Learning students can praise God together, learn from a variety of speakers, celebrate victories, share burdens, and get acquainted with each other.
