JILL RENDEL (1972 - 1993)

On Tuesday, January 31, 2006, the CCU sports court will be named the Jill Rendel Court. The court is in memory of CCU student, Jill Rendel, who died during a van accident while traveling as a senior player on the CCU women's basketball team. She had been named CCU's Homecoming Queen just 6 days earlier.

Many of Jill's teammates and former classmates can attest to her joyful and Christ-like spirit. "She was both spiritual and fun-loving; Always an encourager, she could make something fun out of anything," said friends.

A scholarship has been established in memory of Jill Rendel and the outstanding ministry she had for Christ even in her short life.
