 2012 NACC Reception for Alumni and Friends

The reception at the NACC in Orlando was attended by an overflow crowd of alumni and friends. The special guest of the evening was Rick Rusaw (’80, ’90), President of the 2012 Convention. Guests enjoyed the exceptional Luau buffet, the delicious ice cream sundae bar and some fun door prizes. These photos capture some of the excitement and fun at the reception.












CCU 2012 Legacy Banquet at the NACC

The banquet room at the Marriott World Center Resort in Orlando was filled with guests to “Give honor to whom honor is due” at the third annual CCU Legacy Awards Banquet. After a delicious meal, the five Legacy Awards for 2012 were presented with Mark Koerner serving as emcee.

The Legacy of Generosity Award was presented by Wally Rendel (’64) to Happy and Cheri Perkins of Greensboro, GA.

The Legacy of Serving Award was presented by Dr. Faust (’78, ’91), President, to David (’51) and Eva Meyer of Deland, FL.

The Legacy of Leadership Award was presented by David Hale, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, to Howard Brammer (’67) of Indianapolis, IN.

The Legacy of Teaching Award was presented by Dr. Johnny Pressley (’78) to CCU Professor Dan Dyke of Cincinnati, OH.

The Legacy Church Award was given to Southeast Christian Church, Louisville, KY. It was presented to Bob Russell (’65), former Senior Minister, by Tom Moll (’66).

After the Legacy Awards were presented, Dr. Faust and Tom Moll made one more presentation. They presented Barbara Rendel a check to the Jill Rendel Scholarship Fund from the trustees and a gift to recognize and honor Barbara for the six years she served as Vice President of Advancement at CCU.
