CORRESPONDENCE COURSES
- Each course is a two-hour course
- Each course must be taken for credit
- Courses must be completed in six months
- Grades are given upon completion of a course
- Incomplete work will result in an F
- Course credit will be given on a transcript
and may be applied toward a degree
You have six months to complete each two-hour
course. This is calculated from the date of shipment of materials
to the date that the correspondence coordinator receives the final
exam.
Any student with extenuating circumstances who
is enrolled in correspondence courses during the final semester
before graduation must complete course requirements by APRIL
1.
No extensions are permitted for this circumstance.
At the end of the designated period for completion
of the course, a grade will be assigned. Incomplete work will
result in a grade of F unless the student files for an extension
or officially withdraws from the course.
You will need a Bible to complete most correspondence
courses. Several translations are acceptable. Do not, however,
use The Living Bible. For your written assignments, you
may seek help in books and resources other than your texts and
course materials as long as you give credit to your sources. Borrowing
material without giving credit is considered plagiarism and is
a serious academic offense that can result in receiving a failing
grade in the course. CCU promotes an honor system which we trust
each student to uphold.
