In conjunction with the Cincinnati Bible Seminary Graduation Ceremony, the Cincinnati Christian University Counseling & Family Studies Department hosts a Commissioning Ceremony for new graduates of the Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) program. The Commissioning Ceremony is the MAC graduate’s first step into the counseling profession, as the MAC Faculty bestow a Christian commission upon each graduate, encouraging each individual in his/her professional career and Christian ministry to others.

Each graduate is encouraged to attend the Commissioning Ceremony, and family and friends are welcome to attend. Formal invitations will be mailed to all new graduates in April asking for an RSVP with the number attending. Additionally, graduates who earned the Marriage & Family Certificate will be recognized at this time. After the ceremony, light refreshments will be provided.
