Assessment & Evaluation
The Cincinnati Christian University Counseling Center provides numerous assessment instruments to be used in the appraisal and evaluation process of mental health counseling. Training for each assessment instrument is provided to counselors-in-training, and clinical supervisors are also highly trained in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of these instruments. Some instruments are used in the initial assessment battery, others are designed to measure change and outcomes, and other instruments are used to address specific psychological and emotional concerns. Assessment instruments are used in the initial assessment battery for all new clients. Additionally, clients who have received counseling services for prolonged periods may be reassessed to measure progress and/or identify incremental changes. Testing completed as a part of the initial assessment battery is provided at a minimal charge; additional minimal fees will be charged for any additional assessments administered to the client. Persons seeking to complete a single inventory (by referral, personal choice, etc.) will be charged for each administered assessment. Additional inquiries should be directed to the CCU Counseling Center (contact information). Please find below a complete listing of all assessment instruments currently available at the CCU Counseling Center.
