The gospel once flourished in NZ, but it, along with the churches that faithfully served it, have been cast aside in NZ society. As a result, many social problems are emerging, such as rampant alcoholism and torn families. People are looking for meaning in their lives, but are turned off to church.

Hamish & Molly Taylor both graduated from CCU in 2006, Hamish with a BA in Preaching, and Molly with a BS in Secondary Education. Hamish will be the preacher and team leader for a new church plant in Christchurch, New Zealand, while Molly will be a contact in the local schools.

Hamish and Molly were on campus the week after Spring Break, with Hamish speaking in chapel on March 19. Thank you, CCU, for  supporting the launch of the church plant in Christchurch, New Zealand, with an offering of $900.75.
