Course CD/DVDs

The following courses utilize media CD/DVDs as part of the online learning resources.  These are available for purchase in the CCU Bookstore.  If you have technical problems with any of the CDs other than Survey of Church History, contact the IT Helpdesk for assistance (helpdesk@CCUniversity.edu, 513-244-8647).  See below for the Church History course.

Basic Counseling Theories

The disks in this set contain media presentations for each of the Counseling Theories covered in this courses.  The presentations require no additional software – it is built in to the disk and works on both PC and Mac systems.  In order to view the printable notes you must have a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Bible Lands and Lifeways

The disks in this set contain media presentations for each of the class sessions about the lands related to the Bible.  The presentations require no additional software – it is built in to the disk and works on both PC and Mac systems.  In order to view the printable notes and maps, though, you must have a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader.  The interactive practice maps on the disks require Flash Player, which is also a free download from Adobe.

History of the Restoration Movement

The disks in this set contain media presentations for each of the Restoration History class sessions.  The presentations require no additional software – it is built in to the disk and works on both PC and Mac systems.  The presentations include links to external resources related to that presentation.  In order to view the printable notes and maps, though, you must have a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader.  The disks also contain pictures and videos related to the course content.

Survey of Church History

These disks provide the lecture material for the courses.  The software was not developed by CCU and is not Mac compatible.  You must have Internet Explorer 6 or greater to run the presentations.  In order to view the printable notes you must have a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Since this resource was not developed by CCU, questions about its functionality should be referred the producers – Christian College Consortium for Distance Learning in Joplin, Missouri.  The contacts are Gordon Clymer or Jeff Robertson: gclymer@joplin.net or gclymer@occ.edu, 417-626-1234 ext. 2660.
