How do I log into Moodle?

1. Go to the Moodle log in page: moodle.ccuniversity.edu/
2. Login using your campus network login (firstname.lastname).

How do I access my courses?

1. Log into Moodle.
2. On the Moodle homepage there is a block called “My Courses.”
3. Click on the name of the course.
4. You are in.

Why am I being asked for an enrollment key?

1. Have you registered for the course? You need to be registered for a class before you can enter a course in Moodle.
2. Did you just register for the course? When you first register for a class it can take up to two hours before you are enrolled in the course in Moodle.
3. Is this your first time logging into Moodle? The first time you log into Moodle the program has to retrieve your information. Log out and try again, it could take up to two hours for your information to be in Moodle.
4. If you have tried the other steps and still are being asked for an enrollment key contact the IT helpdesk.

Why am I still seeing a course I have dropped?

Moodle recognizes when if you have registered for a class but not if you have dropped it. If you no longer want to see dropped courses, contact the IT helpdesk and let them know which courses you dropped that need to be removed.

Why are my old courses showing?

To make sure that students can see their grades in Moodle, courses from the previous semester will show in the “My Courses” block for a few weeks into the new semester.

How do I get into an old course that is no longer showing in my courses?

1. Click on “All courses” at the bottom of the “My Courses” block
2. Type in the name of the course you are wanting to access in the search box at the bottom of the page
3. Click on the result that fits the year and term you took the course

Why is the course blank?

Not all professors choose to use Moodle for their courses. Check with your professor to see if they intend to use Moodle for their class.
