Federal Pell Grant
Pell Grants are awarded to undergraduate students who have not already earned a bachelor’s degree. The amount awarded is based on need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and enrollment status. The maximum Pell Grant award for 2013-2014 is $5,645.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
This grant is awarded to Pell-eligible students who demonstrate the greatest financial need. Valid FAFSA results must be received at CCU by May 1 to receive consideration for a full-year award. The maximum award amount at CCU for 2013-2014 is $800.
Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG)
The Ohio College Opportunity Grant is awarded to students who are residents of Ohio and are pursuing undergraduate degrees. Award amounts are determined by the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and student enrollment status. This grant may be applied to tuition and fees only. The maximum OCOG award for 2012-2013 is $2,280. This annual amount is based on full-time enrollment. More information about Ohio’s financial aid programs may be found by clicking here.
