| Missionary
Grant |
- New full-time students whose parents
are currently serving as full-time resident missionaries
on a foreign mission field (not including Canada)

- Must submit missionary status verification
letter on or before April 1 of each year

aid by submitting a FAFSA to the Federal Student Aid Processing
Center prior to March 1

| International
Student Grant |
- New full-time students who are seeking
to prepare for involvement in some form of ministry and
are committed to returning to their home country upon
completing studies at CCU
- Must submit an essay for why they
should be considered (including vocational goals and financial
situation)
- Must provide an additional reference
from a resident missionary in home country
- Must provide a reference from a recognized,
national (home country) church leader who knows the student
well
- Must secure a sponsor to guarantee
payment of all non-tuition expenses and fees or provide
proof of sufficient funds to cover these expenses

Scholars Grant |
- Full-time students who come from
a family and culture in which higher education has not
been widely pursued and who demonstrate Christian character
and leadership potential through their involvement in
approved ministry programs.
- Must have an approved urban ministry sponsor
- Must meet certain financial guidelines as determined by FAFSA
- 2.0 high school GPA on a 4.0 scale
- 14 ACT/660 SAT-1 composite score or equivalent

- Recipients must meet monthly during
freshman year with CCU's Director of Ethnic Ministries;
Upperclassment must meet on a
quarterly basis.

*Financial need may be considered
in the awarding of all CCU scholarships. Financial need
is evaluated using the Institutional Student Information
Record (the results of the Free
Application for Federal Student Aid)
*All CCU scholarships, grants and
awards are non-transferable, have no cash value, and must
be used in successive semesters upon enrollment. Recipients
who decide not to enroll in the term specified on their
admissions application will forfeit any and all scholarship
and/or remitted tuition awards.
*The combination of CCU institutional
scholarships with other tuition-restricted scholarships/grants
will not exceed the cost of tuition and possibly fees.
