The CACREP-accredited 60-hour Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) degree program prepares professional counselors for licensure with strong Christian philosophical foundations accompanied by excellent skills to do Christian counseling in churches, agencies, and counseling centers. It is designed to prepare professional counselors to be properly credentialed by the state in which they desire to practice and is in compliance with national training standards. The Master of Arts in Counseling degree fulfills the educational requirements for licensure as a professional counselor with clinical endorsement in the State of Ohio, and also satisfies the educational requirements for credentialing as a National Certified Counselor.
The MAC degree program is accredited in Clinical Mental Health Counseling by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) and is registered with the International Registry of Counselor Education Programs (IRCEP), signifying its committment to training counselors to serve worldwide.
