Accreditation

In order to ensure the quality of its educational offerings, Cincinnati Christian University has chosen to participate in several accrediting associations.

The Higher Learning Association of the North Central Association provides regional accreditation for the entire institution.  The Association for Biblical Higher Education accredits Bible Colleges and assures that they do not depart from their unique mission of providing a strong Biblical core for their education. The Association of Theological Schools accredits Seminaries and assures the quality of their unique contribution to leadership preparation.  The Teacher Education Accrediting Council ensures that teacher education programs meet national and state requirements for preparing competent, effective teachers.

Our voluntary participation in these associations requires us to regularly evaluate the effectiveness of our educational programs, our institutional performance, and the support and services we provide to students.  They also provide comparative statistics to help CCU determine how well it is performing in relation to other schools in the associations.  Membership in these associations also means that our students are able to transfer credits between other schools who are members of those agencies.
