We hope to see many of you back on campus at Impact! on November 2.  We’ll join the rest of the attendees for the morning worship service (led by music & worship alumni) and workshops throughout the day.  In the afternoon we’ll have a special reunion in the Presidents Hall reception area. Then we’ll go back to the choir room and rehearse  “Witness” together with the current concert choir under Brenda Lang’s direction.  Gary Gregory and Ken Read will lead the evening worship at the banquet where the mass choir will sing.   Byron Cartwright will serve as emceeCome and celebrate with us!  Bring your family.  Call your friends and plan to meet at Impact!

Unquenchable Faith

Friday, April 27, 7:00 p.m.

Worship & Ministry Center Chapel

 Director, Brenda Lang, and the CCU Concert Choir are returning from their Unquenchable Tour of the southeast on April 23.  We are excited to turn around and present the FINAL 2012 CONCERT on the campus of CCU. Many of you have followed this tour through the years. It is through your generous support that we are able to go on tours and minister to thousands of people in the US and in Brazil, South America. This home concert is our way of sharing our continuing adventures and expressing our thanks to you. Most of all, it is another opportunity to praise the Lord and worship Him together. We hope to encourage your faith and lift your spirits through the message from Hebrews, chapters 11-12. Please join us for this high-energy, spirit-filled worship experience!

Music – Ministry – Fun!

Time to plan your summer? YES!  It is!
And the best two weeks of 2013 could be spent with the Solid Rock Tour!

If you are in grades 10-12 right now, you are eligible to apply. We are looking for 50 high school students who love serving the Lord with their gifts: singing, playing an instrument, acting, dancing and serving as sound tech. You may be selected through an audition process. You must send in an audition packet (see below) including an application form and fee by MARCH 11 (extended deadline). If accepted as a Solid Rock member, you’ll meet each other on July 14th at Cincinnati Christian University for one week of rehearsals, fun, study and worship. Together you will form a choir and worship band. Some of you will also try out for vocal solos, drama and/or dance during the first week. You’ll live in the supervised dorms and eat in the Golden Eagle dining room on campus.

During the second week (July 20-26) you’ll travel by charter bus to present the program at 8 different churches in multiple states. One of them could be your own home church! You will choose a Solid Rock Tour travel partner and you’ll stay in the homes of church families each evening after the concert. Let the great adventure begin!

Solid Rock is sponsored by Cincinnati Christian University and is directed by Professor Gary J. Gregory.  The campus staff consists of CCU faculty, staff, alumni and college Reach team members. The tour staff consists of “Dr. G,” CCU alumni and Solid Rock parent chaperones. You’ll have a great time while growing closer to the Lord and to one another, and most of all you will be using your God-given talents in ministry to others.
