The Ministries Department focuses on preparing workers for applied vocational church work.

BA or BS with an emphasis in Worship Ministry

CCU Ministry Department offers the extremely practical BS or BA in Biblical Studies (Worship Ministry). Our Worship Ministry program is designed to prepare a worship leader to be able to work with musicians in a contemporary setting and to have a solid biblical and practical foundation for ministry. All Worship Ministry students take applied lessons in voice, and then in a chosen instrumental track (either piano or guitar). Proficiency in both voice and one instrument is required for graduation, and after proficiency is gained, a student is welcome to take applied lessons in another area (such as bass, drums, songwriting, guitar and piano).

We also feature a popular degree-completion BS in Worship Ministry in our College of Adult Learning and Leadership, the CALL Program. The program is designed for the adult learner who already has some college experience and who is already in a worship leading position.
