At Cincinnati Christian University, we strive to prepare musicians to serve the church and shape the world with excellence, relevance and flexibility.

Excellence

Our goal is to prepare students who are musically excellent. Our Bachelor of Music program offers musical training as well as training in ministry, Bible and theology, all with an eye to equipping successful graduates to be excellent ministers. We have  faculty members who are qualified and experienced, and we design every class to equip musicians to serve the church and shape the world.

Relevance

We earnestly desire for every musician prepared at CCU have cultural relevance. God never changes, but culture is constantly changing, and our degrees are geared to meet the needs of the church both today and tomorrow. Our course offerings are designed to serve the church and shape the world in all of the Worship Arts.

Flexibility

We want to equip musicians to be ready to serve the Lord in many areas. Whether they serve as worship leaders and music ministers in churches, use their learning to gain teaching licensure and serve in public or private schools, or go on to graduate school or seminary, or teach in a private studio, or even to a career in performance, we would hope to provide the foundation for success in any field of service.

Jesus says that he opens doors that no one can shut. He has truly set an open door before his church to impact the world through worship and the arts. Established churches and new church plants alike are searching for leaders who are musically excellent, culturally relevant and flexibly prepared.
