Bachelor of Music Degree

Quality education in Music and Worship

CCU offers a powerful Bachelor of Music degree in Music and Worship. The degree is designed similarly to those of fine music conservatories, but all of the courses are shaped to equip students for local church ministry.

Our full-time music faculty members have strong credentials, and have been teaching together at CCU for almost twenty years. The BM program offers training in a number of musical specialties: Voice, piano, guitar, composition, brass instruments, and percussion are all offered by our faculty, and other instruments can be taken with special arrangements with outside instructors. From the well-known Concert Choir to the Winds of Praise and the World Music Worship Ensemble, there are plenty of opportunities for performance. The Bachelor of Music degree provides rigorous training in musical performance and theory, as well as courses in Bible, theology, and ministry training.

Cincinnati Christian University is aware of the current needs in churches for traditional, contemporary and post-contemporary styles of worship, and we equip students in all areas. The BM program in music and worship has options for a senior recital, a research project or an internship, working under a professional in the field.
