Presidential Search

The Board of Trustees of Cincinnati Christian University announces the search for the University’s President. Founded in 1924 high atop a hill overlooking Cincinnati, Ohio, CCU is committed to providing an excellent Christ-centered, liberal arts education with a Christian worldview for each student. The university seeks a visionary leader who is committed to Jesus Christ, a biblically-based philosophy of education, and fulfilling the command to “make disciples of all nations.” The successful candidate will share and communicate the core values that shape CCU and will possess the experience and skills to advance the mission of the university. Cincinnati Christian University offers Masters, Bachelors, and Associate degrees in Business, Counseling, Humanities, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Sports Management, and Music. In addition, CCU continues to offer both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biblical Studies, Theology, and Ministry through its Russell School of Ministry, Cincinnati Bible Seminary, and the renowned Center for Church Leadership. CCU’s unique approach stresses a faith-active education, an urban experience with limitless possibilities, and a hands-on, personal approach to education.

During the recent past, CCU has been in public merger discussions with a sister Restoration Movement school, Kentucky Christian University. Merger discussions have been suspended at this time. We continue, however, to remain committed to various forms of ongoing collaboration and may re-visit merger discussions at a later time. The successful candidate who will serve as the next President of CCU will work with a Board of Trustees and campus community who appreciate the rapidly-changing environment of Christian higher education and are committed to the idea and ideal of collaboration among small, private Christian colleges.Application materials should include a curriculum vitae and a letter addressing how the candidate’s experience matches the position requirements including any experience sustaining or growing small colleges. We are excited and look forward to the 2017-2018 school year at CCU.

Blessings, CCU Trustees
