Consortium: Co-Op Programs

CCU participates in a co-op program with 2 Consortium schools, the College of Mt. St. Joseph (Teacher Education for Middle School and Adolescent Young Adult) and Cincinnati State (Signing Interpreter Training and Computers).   These degrees are earned in conjunction with both schools.  The Consortium is separate from these programs but can be used by students in working toward these degrees.

Students in these programs can continue to take classes through the Consortium even after completing all other degree requirements at CCU.  This is the ONLY exception to this rule.

Students in an education program at CMSJ cannot take education classes (“EDU”, “SED” or “AYA”) through the Consortium.  Ohio state law requires you to take them directly at the institution granting the teacher licensure.   CMSJ will require students to complete a cross registration form but students will be responsible for tuition charges to CMSJ.  Classes in the teaching field or content area can be taken through the Consortium.
