Located on a hilltop overlooking the heart of downtown Cincinnati, Cincinnati Christian University offers many unique ministry and educational opportunities. Here you are joining a bright and talented community of learners and educators offering exciting opportunities for spiritual, intellectual, and social discovery. We believe students choose CCU because their professional goals align with the Mission of this great institution. CCU is in the business of training leaders for effective Christian service – teaching hundreds to reach thousands!
Here you will have the opportunity to encounter the heart of Jesus.
“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave.”- Jesus (Matthew 20:26-27; NLT)
As believers, we are charged with a new lifestyle. Jesus Christ has challenged each follower to cast off their own identity and live our lives representing His Kingdom. This is a fundamental proposition and must be taken seriously. Keep in mind that here you are joining a unique community atmosphere that is rooted in Biblical principles and values. Moreover, it is our desire for each student to gain valuable knowledge, discipline, and growth in all the significant arenas of life (i.e. spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical).
The college years, while challenging, are among the very best in life. They are a time of intense growth and radical discovery. These years will become the framework of your thoughts, aspirations, and goals for decades to come. Your time at CCU is a journey – it’s not just about the destination. Your years at CCU will be both challenging and rewarding. You will be required to work hard; however, your effort will be rewarded through accomplishment, friendships, and growth. We look forward to the character and qualities you will bring to the student body. Moreover, we are excited by the contributions we know you will add!
Our desire is that your educational journey at CCU be well-rounded and fulfilled. We are passionate about your achievement and offer a variety of events, activities, concerts, lectures, theatrical productions, recitals, athletic events, leadership opportunities, and other community-oriented activities throughout the year. Additionally, spiritual growth opportunities abound through devotional groups, chapel, family, mentorships, and community service. At CCU, you will be joining a campus of nearly 1,100 students. Students from a regionally varied background with more than 35 states and 10 nations represented within the student body. With such diversity, we are proud to offer a true collegiate experience within a warm Christian community.
