Leadership Luncheon a Success
Wednesday, February 23, 2011“Leadership development is always on our minds at CCU,” states David Faust, university president. “It’s our mission to equip students with the character, skill, insight, and vision they need to be effective servant leaders–and it’s exciting that we share these goals with so many like-minded business leaders in Cincinnati.” On Wednesday, February 23rd, CCU presented its annual Leadership Luncheon encouraging and inspiring local businesses and community leaders. Tom Arington, President and CEO of Prasco Laboratories, shared how he started his company nine years ago at age 65, when others are thinking about retirement. But by founding his company with God first, he has been blessed time and again, and his company has grown to rank fifth among pharmaceutical companies around the world. He said he is privileged to work with godly coworkers, and he encouraged the audience to set right priorities and love God and love others. Tom AringtonE. Thomas Arington, who founded the Cincinnati-based pharmaceutical firm, Prasco, in 2002, is also former Chairman and CEO of Duramed Pharmaceuticals and former president of the healthcare consulting firm MarketMaster. Prasco is one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies in the industry, in terms of relative growth and prescriptions dispensed. In addition to business success, Arington also founded The Arington Foundation in 1994. Based in the Greater Cincinnati area, AF emphasizes supporting groups located in southwest Ohio, southeast Indiana, and northern/central Kentucky. The foundation has provided support for a variety of organizations, including those of an athletic, educational, humanitarian, and religious nature. These groups have had local to international impact. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped to make the 2011 Leadership Luncheon a memorable event! Join us for the Leadership Luncheon 2012.
