Cincinnati Christian University was started in 1924 by the church and today exists for the church, is accountable to the church and is sustained by the church. Our mission is clear and concise: “Building Christian leaders to serve the church and shape the world for Jesus.”
We are currently pressing forward in our Beyond the Walls campaign to train a record number of ministers, missionaries, church planters, educators, counselors, youth ministers, musicians and Christian leaders. A current major goal is the raising of $2,000,000 for the Russell School of Ministry. The money will be used for scholarships and to endow a chair for the RSM. Wally – It is with great pleasure that Warren Church of Christ sends this gift to become a Partner Church with CCU. Some universities produce doctors, lawyers, engineers, even astronauts…but nothing compares to Cincinnati Christian University sending out harvesters for God’s Eternal Kingdom. Along with a gift for the Rine Renovation Project, Terry White included this note: “My wife Marci (Manuel) White lived in the Phyllis Rine Residence Hall while attending CBS at the time. Her friends and classmates gave her a candlelight service there when we became engaged to be married. CBS, CBC, CCU holds a special place in our hearts.” (Terry is a CCU alum and minister of Columbia Christian Church, Columbia, KY)
