Russell School of Ministry

Bob and Judy Russell

Bob and Judy Russell
The Russell School of Ministry at Cincinnati Christian University is a program featuring a block of four classes (modules) offered one at a time in summer and winter sessions.  The classes are geared to give students and other church leaders an opportunity to expand their leadership education through a series of practical ministry courses.  Courses are taught by experienced and well-known professors and leaders.  Bob Russell is a regular guest lecturer in each class.  Students receive a certificate upon completion of the four one-week modules.  The four-module courses may also be used to fulfill course requirements in either the MAR or MDiv degrees.

The inspiration for the program came from the ministries of Bob and Judy Russell.  Bob and Judy spent over 40 years in ministry and helped grow Southeast Christian Church, Louisville, Kentucky, to 20,000 people—the largest Christian church in the United States.  One of Bob’s main focuses today is to mentor and minister to younger preachers.  He wants to pass on what he’s learned during his four decades at Southeast.

In addition to providing excellent and practical ministry training, Cincinnati Christian University is raising $1 million through the Russell School of Ministry for a scholarship fund for preaching students and $1 million to fund a chair for the RSM.
